As we work to re-establish and expand our programmes and activities at Glebe House and to bring in funding to employ staff again, we have started to submit funding applications and are preparing further bids. We have drawn up a list of funders and funding schemes that we are targeting over the coming months and beyond.

Some funding programmes have cycles with closing dates for applications while others operate on a continuous basis.

Among the funding programmes that we are targeting, the next deadline is midday on Wednesday 28th February 2024, when applications for financial assistance to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council must reach the Council.  Details of NMDDC Financial Assistance 2024/25 Call 1 are: https://www.newrymournedown.org/residents-grants-and-funding.

If you have any suggestions for programmes, projects, initiatives etc. at Glebe House that could be eligible for funding we would love to hear from you.

Please send us a short description of your idea or ideas to info@glebehouseni.org, along with your understanding of the possible delivery costs, by Wednesday 14th February 2024 if possible.  

To help us to decide which bids to develop and submit, we will hold an Open Meeting at Glebe House at 11am on Friday 16th February 2024 to discuss any ideas or proposals that may be in the frame. Following this meeting we will draw up a shortlist of bids to submit for funding.

In the meantime please let us have your ideas by Wednesday 14th February.
