Glebe House Adult Programme

Since 2005 we have run programmes for adults – mainly older people – to tackle rural isolation by offering a varied menu of activities including exploration of cultural traditions, local history, study visits, arts and crafts, singing and Chi-Me.  Read more about our current programmes below.

Chi Me Classes

Calm and relaxing form of exercise

Chi-Me is a Tai Chi influenced exercise programme which is simple to follow and accessible for ages 18 years and abilities. Chi Me improves leg strength, assists efficient breathing, reduces the risk of falls, and promotes mental wellbeing. 

Start date for classes in summer 2024 to be confirmed.

The Glebe House As One Group

Bringing together people from a range of communities and backgrounds for friendship, support and fun.

The local As One Group gets together every Wednesday morning in the Rookery at Glebe House for various crafts, other activities, discussions and general socialising.
